Venetian fire shutters are rated for 45 minutes and are CAN/ULC S104 compliant.
Every product is provided with a ULC certification tag and is Ontario Building & Fire Code compliant.

Minimum size: 12" wide x 12" high
Maximum size: 42" wide x 60" high

How they work
Fusible link
The fusible link is a heat-sensitive device that holds the fire shutter in the open position. It is typically made of a metal alloy that melts at a specific temperature.
Testing / maintenance
Regular testing and maintenance of the entire system is crucial to ensure proper functionality during an emergency.
Activation
When a fire occurs, the heat from the flames causes the fusible link to melt. Once it melts, it releases the mechanism that holds the shutter open, allowing it to close automatically.
Closure
The closing of the shutter creates a barrier that helps contain the fire and smoke, protecting other areas of the building.
